Refund policy

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal period expires.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

The return deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period has expired.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

Condition of Returned Items

You may unpack and inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, similar to what would reasonably be possible in a physical store.

A return is not conditional upon the item being in its original packaging, unused, or still having all original tags attached.

You may be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us at servicemerloan@gmail.com if an item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can resolve the issue.

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception provided by applicable law applies. This includes, in particular, goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or goods that are clearly personalized to the consumer's needs.

Please note that an item is not excluded from the right of withdrawal solely because it is produced after an order is placed. Standard products featuring designs offered by Merloan are therefore not automatically considered personalized goods.

Sale Items

Sale or discounted items are generally subject to the same statutory right of withdrawal as regularly priced items. A discount alone does not exclude the right of withdrawal.

Exchanges

If you would like a different item, size or variant, you may return the original item in accordance with your right of withdrawal and place a separate order for the desired item.

Refunds

In the event of a valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us will not be refunded.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
